Mystical HiFi Records 006
"Sativa" es el resultado de la colaboración entre Mystical HiFi y la potente voz de Laura a.k.a La Prema. Este tema nos habla de la falta de libertad que hoy en día nos impide vivir de la manera que
quisiéramos. Cada vez más, la sociedad crea nuevas leyes, más restricciones,
prohibiciones y consecuencias, las cuales nos reprimen y nos quitan la autonomía.
La canción no es una celebración de la hierba en sí, sino pone un ejemplo del tipo de
actividad ilegal en la vida actual que las autoridades consideran ‘mal’ o poco ético, (sin
sentido) ya que es una sustancia natural que puede reducir la ansiedad y aumentar la
creatividad y la productividad.
El tema imagina un mundo en que lo quemamos todo y empezamos de nuevo con más
conciencia y más libertad.

Sativa is about the lack of freedom that individuals have in modern day life to live the way
they want to. Society and the powers that be, more and more, are creating new laws, new
restrictions and new prohibitions which punish and repress humans.
It is not an ode to smoking weed exactly, (which should indeed be legalized) but rather
‘Sativa’ is one example of the many activities in modern life which are considered by
authorities to be unethical and wrong, but for no reason that really makes sense. Sativa for
example is a strain of Mariuana which can reduce anxiety and increase creativity.
The track imagines a world in which we burn it all down to the ground and start again with a
new cycle of life in which we are all free.
